A Willis ISD Candidate School Board Debate
will be held at The Lone Star Convention Center
on Monday, October 24, at 6:30 pm.
- This is a moderated event, hosted by a private citizen.
- Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department will be present for the debate.
- The moderator will have no connections to candidates, parents or families of Willis ISD students, teachers, or employees.
- Guests will not be able to ask questions at the event – please submit them ahead of time via email to Moderator Questions.
- Cards will also be available at the event for attendees to fill out and submit.
- Candidates will have 1-2 minutes to respond to questions, with 1 minute allowed for rebuttals if needed.
- **Example of question submitted – Parent has a specific concern about how a child was disciplined. That question will be changed to read, “Willis ISD policy on behavior and discipline is -blank- , do you support that policy? If not, what would you change about it, and how would you implement those changes?
- There will be a table available to display candidate information.
