Terri Strozier

Director

Terri has almost 20 years experience in the convention and expo industry. She is responsible for the overall operations and management of The Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. Those duties call for her to help plan, direct, and oversee the activities and events held on the property.

Terri works closely with clients throughout the planning and implementation of their event. She is a member of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce and a Life Member of the Montgomery County Fair Association.

Ed Mayo

Operations Manager

Ed began his employment with Montgomery County in 2012 as a Facility Worker for the Convention Center, he later transferred to another department, then returned to us as our Operations Manager in the Fall of 2018. Ed is a true asset to our facility and the industry! Whether it’s a banquet, horse show or rodeo, Ed oversees the team to make sure your event runs smoothly from start to finish. Ed also oversees the day to day grounds and building maintenance of the facilities.

Jenni Adams

Administrative Assistant to the Director

Jenni began her employment with Montgomery County in 2007 and transferred to our department in the Summer of 2020. Jenni’s warmth and friendliness is a great asset to our team and will make you feel right at home! She works closely with clients throughout the planning and implementation of their event to make sure all their event needs are met. Jenni also supports the office with day to day administrative duties including purchasing, payroll & watching our budget.

Ashley McMullen

Front Clerk

Ashley began her employment with Montgomery County in 2013 and transferred to our department in the Fall of 2019. Ashley’s friendly smile, infectious laughter and friendliness will make you feel right at home from the first moment you enter our office! Ashley works closely with the Director and Administrative Asst in the beginning phases of your event planning and on your event day, should you need anything, she communicates to our staff to make sure your needs are met. She also takes care of the social media, invoicing, and the billing side of our business which helps keep our facilities running.

Rachel Boyes

Director of Food & Beverage, Spectrum Catering

Rachel is a 28-year veteran of the food & beverage industry. Rachel honed & developed her skills in her hometown of Chicago when she opened her own wedding planning & events company. In addition to her extensive background in event planning, her resume also includes managing the prestige Bon Vivant Country Club. When she relocated to Texas, it inspired her to continue creating experiences in both the corporate & social event planning sector, and became part of the Spectrum Catering, Concessions, and Events Company. As the Director of Food & Beverage for Spectrum Catering, Rachel not only brings her extensive experience & leadership but also a passion for providing next-level service & comfort to all guests. She is passionate about making clients’ visions come to life.
